Mother’s Peace is a monthly space created to encourage, uplift, and support mothers through every season of motherhood.

Hi Mama,
Before anything else, I want to introduce myself a little more personally. My name is Ms. DJ and like some of you I wear several hats!
I’m a mother of three, a wife, and an educator who has spent many years caring for children and supporting families.
Over the years, I’ve spoken with so many mothers from all walks of life, and one thing I’ve learned is this: No matter how strong a mother may look on the outside, many are carrying far more than they ever say out loud. And truthfully… I understand that feeling too.
Between motherhood, marriage, work, responsibilities, caring for others, and trying to hold everything together...life can feel heavy sometimes. There are days when we pour so much into everyone around us that we forget to slow down and care for ourselves too.
That’s one of the reasons I created Mother’s Peace.
Not as a place for perfection. Not as a place where anyone has all the answers. But simply as a soft place for mothers to pause, breathe, feel encouraged, and remember they are not alone.
Motherhood is beautiful… but some days, it’s also incredibly overwhelming. Some days feel full of laughter, hugs, sweet little moments, and memories you never want to forget. And other days? You’re simply trying to make it through the day. Trying to keep up. Trying not to break down. Trying to carry everything quietly while still showing up for everyone around you.
The truth is, many mothers are carrying more than they ever say out loud.
The mental load.
The worry.
The pressure.
The guilt.
The exhaustion.
And somehow, through all of it, they still continue loving, giving, comforting, helping, and showing up.
If that sounds like you… this is for you.
You deserve moments of peace. Moments to breathe. Moments to slow down long enough to care for your own heart too.
Because peace does not mean life is perfect. It means learning how to breathe through the imperfect moments with grace.
You do not have to have it all together to be a good mother. Some of the most meaningful things your children will remember are not the perfect moments, but your love, your presence, your warmth, and the way you kept showing up for them even on the hard days.
So today, whether you feel joyful, exhausted, emotional, grateful, unseen, appreciated, or somewhere in between… I hope you pause long enough to remind yourself of this:
You are doing better than you think.
And you are not alone.
Pause With Me.
When was the last time you cared for yourself with the same love you give everyone else?
You're not alone, I'm pausing and stand with you

A Mother’s Prayer
Lord,
For every tired mother, every overwhelmed mother, and every mother quietly carrying more than she says out loud… bring peace into her heart today. Remind her that she does not have to carry everything alone. Fill her home with grace, softness, patience, and rest. And in the middle of busy days and heavy moments, help her remember that her love matters more than perfection ever will.
Amen.
Take This With You
Your children may not remember every little thing you did perfectly.
But they will remember how deeply they were loved.
